This cheque was kindly donated to the Stonehaven Dolphin Research Trust, a local Charity from Dunnottar Castle’s Custodian, Wendy Sylvester (right) and summer staff member, Hannah Harrison. Ian Sim (middle) is the Founder Member of Stonehaven Dolphin Research Trust. The amount of £303.00 came from Castle wishing well from the generosity of thousands of visitors that regularly visit the Castle. This is one wish that will come true for them. The proceeds will go towards to help the vital research of the bottle nose dolphins of these coastal waters of this area of the North East which are regularly seen all year round. Several sightings have been made at the Castle this year! |
